The science

The science of better conditions.

Oxora is built on Microenvironment Modulation: a different way to care for skin by tuning the conditions it works within. Rather than relying on pharmaceutical actives or heavy occlusives, we support the skin-surface environment (oxygen, hydration, pH and the microbiome), so skin can function in a more balanced, harmonious setting.

01 · The cycle many routines fall into

Care. Improve. Return. Repeat.

Most skincare routines begin downstream, responding to visible concerns after they appear. That can help, for a while. But when the skin microenvironment remains unsettled, the same patterns can keep coming back. The routine grows; the baseline does not always change.

  1. 01

    Care

More products (topicals, antibiotics, steroids), more steps, more targeted care. Skin starts to feel more manageable.

  2. 02

    Improve

Redness softens. Dryness eases. Blemishes look calmer. Hope returns.

  3. 03

    Return

Days, weeks or months later, the same concerns start to show again.

  4. 04

    Repeat

Stronger routines. New products. More worry. The cycle restarts.

And the cycle begins all over again

02 · A different starting point

What if the real issue was never the surface alone?

Skin is a living environment: oxygen, pH, moisture and microbiome. When these upstream conditions fall out of balance, it can become harder for skin to stay settled. Oxora begins there, by tuning the microenvironment skin works within, enabling it to do what it already knows how to do.

Upstream · The conditions

Where Oxora starts

Enable the skin.

Tune the environment skin works within, so it has a better setting to function in and hold itself steady.

Tend the upstream microenvironment, and everything downstream follows.

Downstream · The surface

Where many routines begin

Instruct the skin.

Meet each skin concern after it has already appeared.

Cross-section of skin: oxygen nanobubbles drift down from the surface, descend a follicle channel, and release oxygen deep in the lower layers.

03 · How MEM-Activated Water™ works

Ordinary water transformed into functional skincare.

MEM-Activated Water™ is not ordinary water with more ingredients added. It is water engineered to behave differently at the skin surface: oxygen-enriched, nanobubble-structured, more wettable and tuned to the skin’s slightly acidic environment.

Oxygen-enriched water

Designed to support higher oxygen availability than ordinary water at the skin surface.

Nanobubble structure

Sub-200 nm oxygen nanobubbles give the water a functional structure beyond simple hydration.

Improved wetting

Designed to spread evenly across pores, follicles and fine surface contours for broader skin-surface contact.

Surface interaction

Nanobubbles may help support a cleaner-feeling skin surface by interacting physically with surface build-up and biofilm-like environments.

Stable by charge

Negative zeta potential helps stabilise the nanobubbles and support longer-lasting oxygen retention within the fluid.

pH-aligned

Formulated with an optimised pH to respect and support the skin’s naturally acidic surface environment.

Made and measured

Engineering Oxora into every bottle.

Every Oxora formula begins with MEM-Activated Water™ engineered to a defined specification. Oxygen nanobubbles are formed, stabilised by negative zeta potential and tuned to an optimised pH. Through in-process monitoring and batch testing, each batch is measured against the same standard, keeping the functional core consistent from bottle to bottle.

Testing and standards, explained.

Skin-tolerability testing and manufacturing standards address different parts of product care. Here is what each means.

Original Dermatest® Excellent badge, 10/2026

Skin tolerability, independently tested.

Dermatest® in Germany rated the tested Oxora Skin Base Fluid sample’s skin tolerability excellent in a dermatologist-supervised test.

Production standards, explained.

ISO 22716 and GMP address cosmetics manufacturing practices and quality controls. ISO 14644-1 addresses cleanroom classification.

ISO 22716 certified markGood Manufacturing Practice certified markISO 14644-1:2015 mark
ISO 22716
Guidelines for good manufacturing practices in cosmetics, covering production, control, storage and shipment.
GMP
Good Manufacturing Practice describes how production processes and quality controls are organised and documented.
ISO 14644-1:2015
Classifies cleanroom air cleanliness by airborne particle concentration. It describes the production environment rather than skin performance.

04 · What to honestly expect

A steadier baseline, on a real timeline.

Week 0–2

It feels calmer

Skin often feels more comfortable, less reactive, more hydrated.

Week 4–8

It looks steadier

Redness and texture begin to settle; the surface looks calmer.

Week 8–12+

It holds

Resilience builds: skin recovers faster and its baseline feels more stable through triggers.

These are general patterns, not promises. Individual experiences vary with skin condition, severity, routine consistency and other factors.
